Lawrence Pearsall Jacks on Work

A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both.

  1. I love this quote, Caterina. I must admit that I don’t think I’ve ever heard of L.P. Jacks in name, or at least if I have it didn’t “stick”. Too much kruft probably. 😉 Looking deeper, I do recognize some of his work by title though.

  2. Caterina, I have a startup I need help with. It is actually two brilliant ideas rolled into one. I left you a message at Quora. I really think you should consider this.
