When Donatella likes a product, she buys it in triplicate, and is said to have once been so worried about her toiletries during an earthquake in Los Angeles that she yelled, "Paul, my creams! My creams!"

Re. triplicate, I must admit to doing the same thing. The time/attention/frustration cost of replacing those favorite ruined sneakers disappears when you know you've two pair more in the basement.

Some of us have more interesting things to do..
