Best pancakes I've ever eaten, though the people at Kodiak Cakes call them flapjacks. Half wheat, half oats, all whole grain, and just add water. Fantastic. And we got them at Safeway.

I'm generally the sort to stay away from cooking with a mix but I recently discovered Kungsornen and was suprised to discover it delivers a mean swedish pancake out of the box. I used a liquid mix of 50% leche + 50% H20. It came out real nice. World Market sells the mix in addition to other random, quality, international food items. I look forward to giving Kodiak a try now. Must be a 'K' thing.

Stephanie | January 19, 2007 8:07 AMThere's a good recipe for oatmeal pancakes in Laurel's Kitchen - you have to soak the oats first, so it takes a bit of time, but man are they good.
Last weekend's pancakes were half rye flour, half cornmeal, a bit on the savory side.

Everyone out there needs to try Kodiak Cakes! Once you try it you will never go back to whatever pancake mix you had before! On top of that they have a new brownie mix that is healthy and awesome tasting. Who would of thought that those two would go together. You have to try it to believe me.
