Perfection
To Taoism that which is absolutely still or absolutely perfect is absolutely dead, for without the possibility of growth and change there can be no Tao. So perfectionists aspire to be dead (by ceasing to be able to improve or change themselves) -- because the inherently chaotic imperfection of life frightens them so much?
