Had drinks (Lemon drops, which I'd had the night before at Brickhouse) with EZ and Holly at the Hotel Vancouver yesterday evening, which was a delight. Afterwards we went to the fur store off the lobby and tried on hot pink headgear.
In an attempt to diminish the jet lag, we're staying up all night and sleeping on the plane to Tokyo. Depends on how crowded the flight is, I suppose, if we'll be able to sleep on the plane. Talking to Ewan this morning on the phone, he said that flying so far for such a short time is no good. The trip there and the trip back erases any relaxation and enjoyment that might have taken place between.
My studio mates and I have been evicted from our studio on Water Street. After 15 years the City's building inspectors decided to pay a visit, and not surprisingly, our space is zoned for warehouse, not for artist studio. We have to leave in a month or so. So we're looking for a space, if you have any leads, we'd appreciate it.
