• Sarah and David's films at Intermission
• East European party (borscht, cabbage rolls, pierogis, apple struedel, sausage)
• Peter's birthday (curry, watercress, wine)

You missed Clooney's bared buttocks, but have chosen wisely for the Tarkovski. The remake really was an artificially tasting Solaris light, with philophical discussions cut back to one-liners.

I loves tarkovski but some scenes in that movie, such as that highway drive near the beginning coulda used some serious editing.

I come across three references to the original Solaris in three days?.... Methinks 'tis a sign that its time to rent again(and FF through aforementioned driving scene).
