I am going to be at Swarm tonight, and definitely seeing Disasteroids at Video In.

Out tonight on Little Dog Hill, the sun was down early, and the leaves swinging down from the trees, the mood was golden and autumnal and I had a sudden impulse to go buy new clothes and notebooks. But then I remembered.

We saw The Two Towers. I didn't realize Viggo Mortensen was married to Exene Cervenka. (They're now divorced.) Stewart's favorite LA punk band is X. Stewart asked if I thought Aragorn was handsome, and I said I've never gone for the Jim Morrison look, Legolas is the cute one (here are some pictures of Orlando Bloom.)

We saw American Splendor, which was good but not great. Paul Giamatti, who plays Harvey Pekar, was a few years ahead of me in school, and was my dance partner in the annual musical, The Boyfriend.

Does anyone out there work in the apparel industry? I need some advice about sourcing fabrics.
