A conversation with Paul the other night in Amsterdam (over an Indonesian rice table) about our desire for a wiki/weblog, inspired a visit to the Wikipedia, where I hadn't been for a while. On the "requested articles" page, I saw the no one had biogged Emile Cioran, and so I wrote a blurb for him. Surely there's a Cioranophile who can improve on it.
Have a look at the requested articles page, and see if there's not something you can write a bit about. Christie Brinkley? Beefcake? Lethargy? Underground coal gasification? The Exquisite Corpse's Wang Dang Doodle?

wikipedia, genius. I must have been under a rock. I'll be over at wikipedia for the next few hours. Thanks!
Syd | June 25, 2003 11:49 AMThanks for your wonderful list of Vancouver restaurants, which I will put to good use in my future visits. You mentioned a rijstaffel in Amsterdam, where I will be in 2 weeks, and I wondered if you could tell me which restaurant and what you thought of it. I'm going to challenge the Dutch gastronomes to match my wife's family recipe for Nasi Goreng.

Erik Benson is pretty much there with Salieri, his homegrown publishing system that runs erikbenson.com.
It's wonderful...
